Posted in The Steelers will practice today on the South Side as they put the finishing touches on the gameplan for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. The Steelers and 49ers enter the game with 2-and-0 records. The Steelers could be without rookie Tight End Matt Spaeth who did not practice again on Thursday because of a thigh injury. Jerame Tuman would get the start if Spaeth can’t go. The 49ers will be without outside linebacker Manny Lawson, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during practice. Lawson is out for the remainder of the year.
