Steelers 2008 Opponents

Posted by Matt Loede on January 6th, 2008 filed in News, Opinions

For those that are already talking about 2008, here is the schedule in terms of who the Steelers will play next season.  Not going to be easy from the looks of it:

Home: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants

Away: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins

At home, you have the Colts (AFC South champ), Chargers (AFC West champ), Cowboys (NFC East champ) and the Giants (NFC Wild card team).  Overall four the 8 are playoff teams.

Away, Jags (AFC Wild Card team), Titans (AFC Wild Card team), Pats (AFC East Champ), Eagles (8-8) and Redskins (NFC Wild Card team).  Add it up and you’ve got 4 playoff teams and 4 non-playoff teams.

No doubt thats a tough schedule! If the Steelers can make some adjustments, get some new blood to fill the holes that opened over the last 6 weeks of the season, then winning our division will once again be our ticket to the playoffs.I have to say though, the holes Im talking about are massive! O=line is horrible,D-line gets no pressure,Ike Taylor is hit or miss,We actually missed Ryan Clark when he got hurt,a back-up running back who can carry 15 times to keep FWP fresh, and a special team unit that I can smell here in CT.

I’m a Steelers fan and my boyfriend is a Redskins fan. We’re from Orlando, FL but I want to buy tickets for that game as soon as possible. Please let me know when can I buy these tickets.
