Big Ben due Big Bucks

The Steelers have several unrestricted and restricted free agents to discuss contracts with but one deal will get started before any other. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, his agent and the Steelers are expected to talk contract extension for Big Ben during the off-season. Roethlisberger has two years remaining on his contract but this is when the Steelers extended their last two starting quarterbacks, Tommy Maddox and Kordell Stewart. Roethlisberger is coming off one of his best seasons as a pro. Statistically, Roethlisberger had his best season and he broke Terry Bradshaw’s touchdown record as well as earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

Give Ben what it takes to keep him there. He’s worth it.
I became not only a Ben fan, but a Steeler fan when Ben waited to congratulate David Garrard after the game this past week. What a class guy.
So, Steelers, I’m rooting for you when you’re not playing the Jags!

Absolutely, must re-sign Big Ben right now! DO NOT wait and just get it done. To Jagguy, Yes, its true! Ben is a class act as are the Steelers as a whole. I am very impressed as a life-long Steeler fan(more then 35 yrs!!)at the outpouring from Jag fans who recognize class when they see it. Jag fans should be proud of themselves as they also have shown true class after a great win for them as well as a heart-wrencher for us. Good luck to the Jags, I guess we will see you next year, and I hope its twice!
