Steeler Great To Lead Scholarship Program

Steeler Hall of Famer Franco Harris has been named the chairman of the Pittsburgh Promise. The Promise is a joint venture between the city of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh School District. The 250-million dollar fund will provide college scholarships to most students who graduate from city schools. The program is one of the first of its kind in the country.
