Posted in The Steelers quietly returned to their off season workout program on the South Side Tuesday. Several players watched from the sidelines as they continue to recover from injuries and off season surgery including Hines Ward, defensive end Aaron Smith, and Kendall Simons. Troy Polamalu was given permission by the team to work out with his personal trainer in California and Marvel Smith was excused to tend to personal matters. After the workout Ben Roethlisberger told reporters that he’ll be among the hundreds of Penguin fans expected to make the trip to Detroit Saturday to watch Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals.
