Mahan Headed Back to Tampa

This is huge news for Steelers fans! Fair or not Mahan’s short stay here was too long! He is now gong back to Tampa Bay for a conditional pick, probably a 5th or 6th. Anyway, with Mahan gone, the more exciting news is that his spot on the roster is now open for us to add another lineman waived by another team…like who? Um, Willie Andrews from the Bengals? John Welbourn of the Pats? Andrews is a Tackle, he could place LT and move Marvel over to RT, then slide Colon in to Simmons spot and we would have significantly upgraded our line AND picked up a 2009 draft pick!

Thanks for listening to me vent!

Completely off topic question from a Houston fan. My family does a thing we call football Sunday, where family and friends come to my house to watch NFL games every Sunday. We have 3 TV’s going throughout the house and backyard watching the big games from that week. The main TV is on the Texans. We like to cook meals associated with the city in which the Texans are playing that week. Can anyone provide some information on what Steeler fans cook when tailgating or menu items associated with Pittsburgh. Any help will be appreciated. I’ll even probably enjoy reading the smart*** comments but would really like some serious feedback as well.

I believe we likes to eat sauer Kraut on our sandwiches but I’m from PA dutch country so I’m not sure. A side note…I still cannot believe the (pathetic) offensive line we’ve managed to put around Big Ben! Marvel Smith is the only good one and we did not resign him!!!!
