The NFL will not fire Scott Green. So the second best outcome is for Scott Green to fire himself. Publicly. Please quit and do it today. You’ve had more than your 3 strikes. If you got into this profession because you were truly concerned with fair play and making the right call, here is a golden opportunity to make a call with the most integrity possible. If you are not concerned with integrity, why did you get into this profession? Oh, speaking of that, which sports bookie do you recommend? ps NFL why not make a rule that lets you correct the score when applicable and start with this one?

I was…being sarcastic. I totally agree with y’all. And, I amy have anger issues myself but I truly agree that refs should have SOMETHING happen to them so that they don’t continue this…WhATEVER IT IS, I don’t care….But it should be something bordering on horrific so that the next time that a ref thinks about this type of absurd behavior (and that’s what it is…behavior) they will immediately, in a pavlovian sort of way, think back to abuse, monetary fines, suspensions, whatever, it’s probably different for all of them. What hurts me might not hurt somebody else so there would have ot be something set up that assesses what each individual ref’s BUTTONS are and then attack those buttons when they screw up so that…well, so that we’d see grown men cry!…Go after these guys without mercy and make an example out of them, that’s all.

The thing that disturbes me is the NFL won’t do anything about this. Isn’t it about time the NFL hires full-time officials? Oh well, I HIGHLY DOUBT Roger Goodell will penalize the officials!? When the hell was the last time an NFL official got penalized or even fired for blowing a call??? What if it had been a playoff game??? The AFC Championship??? The Super Bowl???

Kinda funny the NFL takes a hard line with “Pacman” Jones and players but refuses to take a hard line with its officials!

apologies mean nothing. its after the fact,the bookies made their money and the officials got paid. case closed.anyone who wants to argue that sequence of points that I just threw out their must first decide what color the sky is in their world. Football, as well as all other sports are fixed! their is just too much money involved to not believe that.

I must apologize to my critics for what has been pointed out to me for barbarism and archaic way of thinking; an old, antiquated, even immoral idea of how to treat refs. So I apologize about saying they should be abused….However, electric shock therapy is still legal!

This coming after a Steelers win so we all know it’s not (me) whining!
I believe there should be an arbitrary raffle at the end of each game. The fan at the stadium sitting in the predesigned seat or with the winning ticket, whatever,—should be allowed by law and with no impunity, to approach a ref in a room designed to shackle them (refs) and get one good right or left cross to the head. IN other words, refs should be physically abused for their outlandish mistakes!
