Just in case you forgot, the Steelers dominated the Chargers back on November 16th to the tune of 410 yards for the Steelers to just 218 net yards for the Chargers.  Ben Roethlisberger threw for 300 yards, and Willie Parker ran for over 100 yards.  Even Hines Ward had over 100 yards in receiving.  So why are we already so worried?

I guess just human nature says look at the last score, and seeing the Steelers only having won 11-10 points to a game this Sunday that should be tough and hard hitting.  We also realize that to overlook the Chargers is a very dangerous thing to do, and it could point to a huge playoff letdown before the Steelers even get going.

With that though, look for this group of Steelers to be focused and ready to go on Sunday.  Even with Roethlisberger’s concussion, they should be ready to go.  One thing will be to make sure he’s protected, and that will be up to the O-line.  “The first time, they played us hard and it was another comeback effort by us,” guard Darnell Stapleton said. “I think they’ll come out and play us tough again. I think both teams will be prepared. I think it will be a good game.”

A good game - yes.  But it’s a game that the Steelers should win, and they then will already know following the win who is next - a Titans team that beat them just three weeks ago, or a Ravens team that will have to come to Pittsburgh for a third meeting.  Any way you look at it - it all adds up to an interesting week in Pittsburgh.
