We do not want kemo...I don't...too maladroit at pass protection...too many false starts and personal fouls...too low a draft pick...we need some talent on the interior.

Starks came a long way this season and ultimately justified the tag he got last offseason. He and Big Juicy will give us a formidable left-side for a long time.

I know that the team needs to revamp the line a bit in the offseason, but I am also for keeping Starks around...

I also agree. As sub-par as the line has been this season, it can only get worse unless we pick up some real tallent that "gel" quickly. Starks knows Ben, he knows Arians, he knows whats going on with the Pittsburgh Offense. If we lose Starks and Smith, we lose a lot of veteran tallent at the position. We cannot simply buy up free agents and draft the entire line. We need to keep a few of these guys in their, especially now that they are starting to work together. If we lose Starks, our line can only get worse next season. Besides that, he is HUGE.

I agree. If there was a better option, then yes but Starks is solid and, as an early third round pick, has taken the approximated amount of time to develop into a decent pass blocker; only to get better. Marvel is always hurt and they will not land a guy at pick # 32 who will be immediately as good as Starks presently is now...Ben needs protection now! You can get a decent LG at 32 to put between Starks and Hartwig perhaps but if your other best tackle besides the oft-injured smith is Colon, you need to keep Starks!
