Carr Meets with the Steelers; Colon Signs Deal, Galloway Leaves Town

The Steelers met yesterday with KR/DB Chris Carr, who is a free agent that the Titans would like to have back. As we reported, it would be nice to get Carr in Black and Gold, as he would be a value to the team as a kick returner.

Also, right tackle Willie Colon signed his one-year contract for $2,198,000, which was the ender amount he was offered last month as a restricted free agent. That tender meant the Steelers would have received a first-round draft pick in return if Colon signed a contract with another team and the Steelers decided not to match the offer.

And finally, Joey Galloway left town after the Steelers didn’t offer him a deal. Galloway seems to want to be a Steeler, but the team is going to weigh all their options before they make a decision on if Galloway is worth what he’s asking.
