Lawrence Timmons Updates His Personal Blog

I’ve been working out hard and now I’m in cooldown mode, still working out but letting my body rest to prepare for the storm – two-a-days. Just taking it easy, enjoying my last couple days with my son before I go to Latrobe.

I’m looking forward to seeing all the guys again, I know everyone’s been working hard and will be ready. It’s time to build that camaraderie, get ready to do our thing for the season. A lot of people think two-a-days is just grinding, but there’s also some time where guys hang out and get to know each other better.

Two-a-days are like going out in the wilderness with your family. You end up being closer teammates because of it. It’s hard but there’s also a lot of messing around, like guys going to the movies together when you finally get a day off. It’s not like that during the season, each guy has his own life and go their separate ways on days off.

The next coming of LT. I wish you and the STEELERS a lot of good fortune and best of luck. You are a solid player looking forward to this season. I just have one comment to ask of you if you don’t mind, don’t be offended. When you come in on the blitz, alot of the running backs seem to just hit you enough to change your direction, I would like to suggest that you go straight head-on with that RB instead of the qb and knock his ass off. I’m sure after that, he will give you free pass to the qb. Show the rb that he will pay a big price if he tries to block you.
Good luck and God Bless to you and the STEELERS…
