Both Sweed and Warren Done for the Rest of the Season

The Steelers lost two players today, as wide receiver Limas Sweed and long snapper Greg Warren will miss the rest of the season. Sweed, a former second-round draft pick, who has been a bust, is on the reserve non-football illness list.

Warren, a fifth-year pro, has been placed on the reserve/injured list. He injured his right knee after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament on the final play of Sunday’s game against Green Bay. The team said Monday that it will add two players to its 53-man roster before Sunday’s regular-season home finale against Baltimore.

They won a Super Bowl last season without either player being a participant. Warren will be adequately replaced by Retkofsky(sp?) and #14, well, its not like he will be missed at all.Matter of fact, they can sign me for a fraction of the cost! Im 41 years old with back trouble and still can warm a bench as well as #14! LOL. I cracked myself up.
