Roethlisberger Will Accept Disciplinary Action If Not “Too Harsh”

The Washington Post reports that it looks as if Big Ben’s people will accept the penalty that the league hands down – unless it’s more than they think is fair:

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will accept disciplinary action by the NFL or the Steelers without fighting the penalty if he and his advisers do not consider the discipline “too harsh,” a source familiar with the situation said Monday. That disciplinary action perhaps could be announced in the coming days. The source close to the deliberations said he believes an announcement could be made Wednesday.
