A Video blast from the past: Bettis and the Steelers crush the Rams

I remember this game well, Bettis had something to prove against his old team, Pegram took a kickoff back for a TD, and Kordell Stewart took over at QB for a bit this day for an injured Mike Tomczak. I remember in the Three Rivers press box that day a rumor the Rams were out partying in Pittsburgh all night before the game, and they played like it.

Wow Im actually pumped for the season now. Watching that highlight really made me realize that the Steelers really have the same gameplan every year. The blitz schemes with Carnell Lake resembled what Troy does for the team now. Also the way the Bus ran the ball; Im starting to see parralles with Mendy’s explosive ability. If the Steelers can actually get back to Steeler football then Im not going to worry much about the first 4 games
