Starks to miss several weeks with an ankle sprain

The Steelers offensive line is going to need more re-tooling, as tackle Max Starks will now miss the next few weeks with an ankle injury.

Fox Sports is reporting Starks suffered a high ankle sprain in the 15-9 win over Atlanta, and ESPN followed up saying Starks is expected to miss up to six weeks with the injury.

“I’ve had this happen before, so it’s nothing new,” Starks said. “Hopefully it’ll heal fast and it’s nothing more than a week. It could have been a lot worse and I’m glad it wasn’t. I’m going to do everything they tell me to do to make sure I’m ready to go as soon as possible.”

He was expected to get an MRI today.
