Spilled Milk – Fisher cries foul on the Steelers that wasn’t called

Titans coach Jeff Fisher is whining over what he said were two calls that were not called Sunday against the Steelers.

Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said the Steelers got away with at least a couple of penalties on Sunday. Steelers linebacker James Harrison should have been flagged for body-slamming quarterback Vince Young in the third quarter, according to Fisher. “You say if that happened to (Tom) Brady or that happened to so-and-so or so-and-so there would have been seven flags on the field,” Fisher said. “Why wasn’t there one yesterday? I don’t know. Maybe it was the heat.” Fisher also said that Steelers safety Troy Polamalu should have been penalized near the end of the game when he jumped over offensive linemen to tackle quarterback Kerry Collins for a 1-yard loss.

First off Fisher, shut up. Your team got their tail kicked, and this is the best you can come up with?! The first one is a joke, Harrison didn’t “bodyslam” Young, he was simply getting the QB, who has been known over the years to escape near tackles, down….the whistle didn’t blow, so you keep playing.

As for the second penalty, why should Polamalu have been called for a foul? What did he do, other than make an outstanding play to stop Collins cold. If you saw the halftime of the 49ers-Saints game Monday night, they said that Troy read the play perfectly and was not offsides. Take care of your own house Fisher, and quit crying over your teams terrible effort.

He was expecting to just show up and win? Does he not realize that CJ has not rushed for 100 yards on this D in the last three tries or that they lost to us last year. The final score was not indicative of the but whoppin’ they got. I mean my gosh, he pulled the starting QB!

Oh boo hoo. The poor Titans, the refs didn’t miss any calls that the Titans were guilty of committing against the Steelers. You lost, suck it up and get over it.

The Titans were drinking the media kool-ade that their week one win over the Raiders meant they should beat the Steelers, you beat the Raiders, they suck. Quit your crying, you’re not that good.

This is just Fisher licking his wounds, remember kiddies, sour grapes makes bitter whine.

I also love how the media people (Irvin, Sanders, etc.) don’t give Pittsburgh their props for the ass-whooping they put on Tennessee! Instead it was all, “Well now, should they have pulled Young!?” If the Ravens D had done to Tennessee what the Steelers did, the collective media would be lining up right now to suck Ray Lewis’s cock! And they (the fanbases out there) wonder why some of us in Steeler nation have a chip on our shoulder?! It’s painfully obvious that the racist blow hards (Irvin and Sanders) don’t like Pittsburgh because the Steelers never gave players like that a second look when they were playing…I could go on and on but I don’t want to tarnish our fanbase any more and make us sound like whiners. Yeah we got six and working on seven but give credit where it is due assholes!
