Harbaugh on Roethlisberger – “I Was Glad We Broke His Nose”

Remember when the Ravens led a cheap shot party on Ben Roethlisberger in the early going of the game between the two back on December 5th? Well, seems that their coach, a guy that is showing less and less class these days, seems to have no issues with his band of thugs breaking Ben’s nose.

“He had the broken nose,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “I was glad we broke his nose and then I was very impressed that he played through it. Obviously, you can throw very effectively with a broken nose – he proved that.”

Harbaugh said that he thinks his thugs will try to get to Ben Saturday, and will try to again do damage to the QB. “[W]e’re going to try to get after him like we always do,” Harbaugh said. “It’s going to be real important, and he knows that. That’s a key to stopping him. You’ve got to get him down.”

Stay classy Harbaugh, you’ll never hear Mike Tomlin say he was glad the Steelers hurt anyone. Then again, that’s why he has a ring already and your still chasing.

Harbaugh and those Rat Birds are really showing their LACK OF SPORTSMANSHIP! For a Head Coach at any level, to make a statement saying he is proud to have players make dirty hits is showing why he will never have a Super Bowl Ring to wear. He knows he has the refs on his payroll!!! I’d like to see him eat crow, or better yet, some rat bird. SHAME ON YOU!!!

Thats pretty funny you call the ravens thugs when you have a rapist on you’re team. A guy who always gets voted as 1 of the dirtiest players in the nfl, and lets not forget the silverback headhunter.

The only people who think he’s a dirty player are the division rivals who’s receivers can’t block. And who is the CONVICTED rapist you are refering to. No team fears losing to the ravens. They only fear losing players to the ravens due to cheap shot players like Suggs and Lewis. Didn’t Lewis kill someone a few years ago? That’s what I thought.

The fact of the matter is players from “The U” will always be categorized as thugs, mainly because all of them actually are thugs. Most of these players grew up in southern florida where theres plenty of gain related violence and nothing but trouble, so when these guys hit the lotto by making it to the nfl, one would imagine as they get older and accumulate wealth they would mature. Unfortunately, “The U” is just a bad boys club and breeds a mentality of being a wannabe gangsta, better put thug. Now look at the Ravens roster, littered with players from “The U.” It truly is a pandemic.

Now Im not saying its just players from Miami that are thugs or that all players from Miami are thugs either, but it undeniable if you take a look at the players from “The U” in the league, they’re all a bunch of troublemakers.

And for the last time… put a rest to Ben being a rapist. He was never convicted. I dont agree with the fact that he put himself in a bad situation which resulted in a negative light on him and the team, but drop it. Its old news… and apparently Ben is engaged so congrats to him

Cheap shots, lack of sportsmanship. You Steelers fans gotta be freaking kidding me. Talk about cheap shots. Hines Ward is known for his and let’s not even talk about Harrison.
Give me a break. I get so sick of you pathetic idiots. Get a life!

Oh and get a life…. please, your a Ravens “fan” who probably cant name half your players and you come on to a Steelers site to talk trash.

The only thing worse than a Ravens fan is an ignorant female Ravens fan.

Are you serious? Finally a receiver comes along that does his job correctly by actually finishing downfield blocks and not giving up like most receivers do…and you label that kind of play as “cheap shots”. Get real!

Crowley I almost mentioned your name to be in a lesser light. Some reason her comment really irked me…either way as a Ravens fan, realistically, whats your prediction for the game on saturday

Break his nose, break his ankle…doesn’t matter as Ben is a beast. But it really speaks volumes for the head coach who talks cheers his players cheap shots. This is the same douche that said his team has it “figured out” and they didn’t take cheap shots against defenseless players when addressing the Harrison issue. Hypocrite much?

It’s funny to read Raven and Steelers call each other thugs given that you’re both right!
