73 percent of SportsNation viewers don’t believe that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is a role model, contrary to what the star athlete hopes to be to young children, according to his press conference on Monday.
Co-host Colin Cowherd agrees with viewers, “I don’t see actors and athletes as role models. In fact, I think they are terrible choices. I think they tend to be self-obsessed. They are the center of their universe and I think parents should be the role models.”
Here are the results of today’s polls.
- 76% of SportsNation does not feel bad for former Jets strength and conditioning coach.
- 78% do not believe that LeBron James wishes the Cavs the best.

Yes he is. Like most people he didn’t think things through, but, he has courage and has stood with the Steelers and shown you can make yourself better. He has been terrific under pressure. I have always been a Big Ben fan, from first day with Steelers, and will always be a fan.
