Olsavsky and Goodwin to Chat with Other Teams About Jobs

The Steelers announced that they have granted permission for defensive assistant Jerry Olsavsky and offensive assistant Harold Goodwin to interview for openings with other teams.

A former NFL linebacker who excelled on special teams, Olsavsky has been with the Steelers for the last two seasons and was granted permission to interview for an unspecified position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Goodwin has spent the last five seasons working with the Steelers’ offensive line and pro scouting and has been granted permission to interview with the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears. Goodwin, whose brother Jonathan plays for the San Francisco 49ers, spent three seasons (2004-06) as an assistant offensive line coach with the Bears.
