Steelers Release CB Antonio Smith and RB Chad Spann

The Steelers today made a couple roster moves, releasing cornerback Antonio Smith and running back Chad Spann.

Smith was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent back in 2007, and also has played for the Lions, Chargers and Bengals. He played college ball at Ohio State.

Spann He was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2011, and signed by the Buccanneers on October 17th, 2011 before finally ending up with the Steelers.

He played college football at Northern Illinois University, and in 2010, as a college senior, he rushed for 1,388 yards and led the nation with 22 touchdowns, and contributed to the Huskies first 11 win season.
