The death of Steve Sabol is a major loss for the NFL and its fans.

The growth of the NFL can be attributed to the influence of a handful of men, like Pete Rozell, Lamar Hunt, and Steve Sabol and his father Ed.

This is a sad day for football, pray for the comfort of those he left behind.
