OT Mike Adams To Be Okay Following Stabbing During Carjacking

Mike Adams

Steelers offensive tackle Mike Adams is lucky to be alive today after yesterdays stabbing after three mean tried to rip off his truck.

Adams was stabbed in the stomach early Saturday. His agent, Eric Metz said Adams will spend a few days in the hospital and is expected to miss about six weeks of football activities.

“From what I understand, he was very fortunate,” said Metz, who said he spoke with a groggy Adams after his surgery and has consulted with Steelers brass and team security. “The knife missed some vital organs.”

Adams wrote on Twitter that he’s going to be okay, a relief for Steeler Nation.

“I had an angel lookin out for me!” he wrote on his Twitter account. “(I’ll) be ok just gotta fight to get back harder then ever.”

“What kind of Pittsburgh people stab a Steeler?” said Metz, a Pittsburgh native based in Arizona. “What is wrong with these people?”

What was that idiot doing out at 3AM? I think he was up to no good!

      • Way to jump to conclusions. For all we know is that he could of been going to 7 eleven for a slurpee and was in the wrong place at the wrong time
