RB Le’Veon Bell’s Injury Not During Hitting According To Tomlin

#26 Le'Veon Bell

The talk of camp from Thursday was the incident that left rookie running back Le’Veon Bell injured, and if it was actually something that should have even happened.

Reports state that it didn’t appear that Bell was ready to take a hit, and that he was pulling up when a couple defensive players took him down.

Mike Tomlin said after the practice when asked “that was not a live period.”

It’s somewhat disturbing that this late in camp that players do and do not know when live hitting is supposed to be taking place.

Hopefully and most importantly, Bell will be just fine, and that appears to be the case, and also Tomlin and Dick Lebeau lit up those players that can’t seem to know left from right.
