ILB Timmons To Play In Oakland With Broken Left Hand

He’s been the best player overall on defense this season for the black and gold, and now he will have to play with one hand.

That player is Steelers inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons, and he’ll go Sunday vs the Raiders despite suffering a broken left hand in the battle with the Ravens.

Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Timmons will have his broken left hand in a cast, but will be able to move his fingers which should help.

The injury took place late in the 3rd or early in the 4th quarter. He put up a whopping 17 tackles in the victory.

This season Timmons has been a tackling machine, putting up 66 tackles, 22 more than any other player.
