A Steelers Poem: Keep Hope Alive

pittcle

They started off slow
Their season seemed dim
It looked like they
Could not get a win

They picked up the pieces
A few wins they claimed
And their place in the division
A few spots they gained

They’re ready for battle
They’ll fight for each inch
For a playoff spot
They hope to clinch.

Steelernation stands ready,
Towels held up high
Whirling and twirling
We’ll let our pride fly.

We pray for the players
Protect them always,
Lead, guide and direct them
Through all of their days.

Football can be brutal
It’s tough to survive
But we are thankful to God
Our playoff hopes are alive.
