Clowney, Ebron and Gilbert off draft board for Steelers

Roger+Goodell+NFL+Draft

With prime-time coverage underway in the first round of the NFL Draft, three prospects the Steelers showed interest in are off the draft board.

Jadeveon Clowney was the number one overall pick in the 2014 draft, going to the Houston Texans.

Cornerback Justin Gilbert was selected by the Cleveland Browns, making it appear that they believe their quarterback situation may have soured towards J. Manziel.

Tight end Eric Ebron was selected by the Detroit Lions as the 10th pick thus far in the draft.

The Steelers are awaiting the 15 spot to select their first prospect – which will be announced within the hour.
