Steelers HOF LB Jack Ham Shares a Memory of Late Raiders QB Ken Stabler

The 1974 AFC Championship Game was a coming out party for the 1970’s Steelers – a game that the players that played in it to this day describe as the game where the team went from mostly an afterthought to the start of a dynasty.

One player who remembers the game well is Hall of Fame LB Jack Ham. The linebacker was a key part of the Steelers defense, and helped the Steelers to a 24-13 win that put them in Super Bowl IX vs the Minnesota Vikings.

Ham also had a key interception in the game, a play in which he read eyes of now late Raiders QB Ken Stabler, who passed away on Wednesday. He talked about it in the upcoming book “Game of My Life Pittsburgh Steelers” which is out in stores this September and can be ordered on Amazon HERE.
