Former Ravens Coach Brian Billick: Ben Roethlisberger is a ‘Drama Queen’

Once a Raven, always a Raven.

Former Baltimore head coach Brian Billick, now one of many talking heads on television for NFL Network, took a shot at Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger on Thursday this week during an interview with a radio station in Denver.

Maybe channeling his inner Raven hate for the Black and Gold, Billick went so far as to call Ben a ‘drama queen’ during the interview.

Here’s a tidbit of the interview from the story on Fox Sports:

There’s no one tougher than Ben Roethlisberger by far in the NFL, but he’s a drama queen. He’s gonna come out on that field. That arm’s gonna be limp. It’s going to look like he can’t even lift it. Then he’s going to crank off a 60-yard bomb to Martavis Bryant. Then he’ll carry it back into the huddle, holding it like it’s in a sling, and then he’ll crank off a 40-yarder to Antonio Brown.”

Interesting that Billick was already wrong on one part of the statement, which is Ben throwing bombs to Antonio Brown, who is going to miss the game with a concussion.

As for his prediction that Ben is going to be able to throw the ball 60 yards downfield, that remains to be seen. Here’s to hoping.

Brian Billick was just being facetious. He didn’t mean anything by it.

Billickk Schmillick! He is a bitter ex-coach who harbors resentment towards the Steelers. He is intelligent and is very good at analyzing game situations and players but the sour grapes show. I hope Big Ben dramatize it to the max and that the Men of Steel dispense Meathead Manning and the rest of rhe Denver Donkies (apologies to my Dad, a Denver native).

Billick is lucky he’s even on TV still. What are his big accomplishments as a coach, uh, none! He’s just another former coach that’s very impressed with himself, now that he’s been given another shot at fame, having not made it as an NFL coach. He’s an ass, just like the Raven thugs he coached.

Comment not surprising coming from a panzy coach like Billick. The hatred for the Steelers ass whoopings he got as a Ravens coach coming right through. I guess his wish for a Steeler loss didn’t happen and now he is as bitter as when the Steelers puked his Raven team. Lol crawl back into your hole.
