Former CB Ike Taylor Gives Advice to Steelers Rookies

Former Pittsburgh Steelers long time cornerback Ike Taylor has been talking about his former team on NFL Network since he was hired last year. He was definitely a talented cornerback for the Black and Gold and helped the team win two Lombardi Trophies.

Taylor was drafted in the fourth-round of the 2003 NFL Draft and spent his entire 11 year career with Pittsburgh. After retiring in 2014, Taylor is happily broadcasting his awesome personality on NFL Network. Just today Taylor talked about the Steelers and gave tips to the rookie players. The secondary for the black and gold has been scrutinized the last few seasons, and the Steelers are 10 to 1 to win the Super Bowl according to Bet9ja.

Here are the tips he gave:

  1. Stay on Carson Street.
  2. Get a sandwich at Primanti Brothers
  3. Come prepared to work hard
  4. Hang around hard-working veterans
  5. Say “Hi” to Dan Rooney.
