The Steelers got some bad news on the injury front on Monday, as defensive end Cameron Hewyard will miss 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury.
NFL Network first reported that the Steelers big man will miss a couple weeks. Heyward did have to get an MRI Monday after he was injured against the Jets on Sunday.
He will miss a start for the first time since he became a Steelers in 2011. This season he has three sacks. The Steelers next three games is in Miami, at home for New England, and at Baltimore.

Yeah but Dave he ain’t that good. He don’t get sacks and the way I look at it, if you’re drafted in the first round at that position, it better be for more than, “he fits our scheme and he’s not supposed to get sacks because the players in a 3-4 up front don’t do that!” Then don’t draft him in the first round! Go and get someone else in the fourth or fifth who can take up space and not compile stats.
