Steelers Gab 2017 Week 4 NFL Preview – Pittsburgh at Baltimore

1. Flag Happy

The Steelers in three games have been flagged 29 times, that’s just about 10 flags a game if you’re counting at home – which by the way is not good.

This team can be very good when they are playing physical football and not making dumb mental mistakes, but too often over the first three games they are shooting themselves in the foot with flags that are either stopping drives or giving other teams chances when they should be off the field.

Yes last week the officiating was awful in Chicago, but at the same time the team can’t use that as an excuse to allow teams to stay in games with bad penalties.

Giving the Ravens extra chances with penalties is a quick way to find yourself on the short end of the scoreboard, and somehow this team needs to stop with the flags and get off the field.

Prediction: There’s no doubt that the Steelers after three weeks look more like the complete team over the Ravens, but at the same time this game in Baltimore is always a fight, and usually one that the Steelers lose. The last two seasons they have played awful in Baltimore, losing two years back to Ryan Mallet, and last year they did nothing until the final 15 minutes to make it a game, but still lost 21-14. They have to find a way to get off to a quick start, but wacky things tend to stop them from winning in Baltimore, and sadly it’s probably going to be the same way Sunday. Baltimore 17 Pittsburgh 13

I’m watching this steeler team in second half and all I see once again are penalties and more penalties! Steelers have this mo to move into red zone and then back up. By the way, saying the penalties are not on Tomlin is like saying a applied child’s parents are not at fault for their spoiled child. Tea-La-La….Teflon tomlin!

I will rip this team all year whether they are winning or losing as long as they are not performing up to expectations and so far this year, they have not!

Roethlisberger sucks! For real for real! Can’t wait until he’s no longer our quarterback. Time for something new! The way he overthrew Bryant in 3rd and three on that deep ball is completely asinine and INEXCUSABLE! Hey big ass, go and retire already!
