Terrible Turnovers Lead to Mile High Letdown as Steelers Lose 24-17 to Denver; Three Takeaways

3. The Road Isn’t Easy

The loss to the Broncos is going to sting, but they had better get over it quick like and get back to business as they have an 8-3 Chargers team coming to Heinz Field Sunday night.

The last five games is going to show what this team is made of – a game with the Bolts, a trip to Oakland where they never play well, a home game against their all-time biggest rival in Tom Brady and the Pats, then a trip to play maybe the best team in football in the Saints, before a final game against the Bengals at home.

Yes they are going to win this division unless they have a massive letdown, but the task of hosting a wild card game and then winning two on the road isn’t the way to get to the Super Bowl.

Beating the Pats is a must, but that isn’t going to be good enough, as they also have to take care of the other four teams on the slate.

The Steelers have always seem to make or break their season in December, this time around it won’t be any exception.
