Steelers Ink Third-Round Draft Choice LB Bruce Davis

The Steelers have signed their third-round draft pick, linebacker Bruce Davis to a three-year deal.  ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that Davis will receive a signing bonus of roughly $500,000 on a three-year deal, with base salaries of $285,000, $385,000, and $470,000 in 2008, 2009, and 2010, respectively.  Here is a quick profile on Davis from NFLDraftScout.com:

Steelers Release QB Zabransky; Add WR Allen

Today the Steelers made a pair of roster moves - releasing QB Jared Zabransky and adding WR Marvin Allen to their roster. Allen, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, of London, England, was added as part of the NFL International Practice Squad Program. He will remain on the Steelers’ practice squad for the entire 2008 season.
