In a move we speculated on awhile back, the Steelers today put QB Dennis Dixon on IR, ending his 2010 season. The move isn’t that shocking, as it means the team will keep Charlie Batch when Ben Roethlisberger gets back next week.

Is the lack of offense that much of an issue?
Right now let’s face it – the Steelers offense isn’t very good. No brainer – put Dennis Dixon on IR
It was talked about quite a bit yesterday about the Steelers QB situation, and how Dennis Dixon’s surgery is going to sit him for anywhere it sounds like from 4 to 6 weeks. By then, the club will have Ben Roethlisberger back as the starter, Byron Leftwich will be the backup, and it would come [...]

Steelers quarterback Dennis Dixon tore his lateral meniscus cartilage, a team source told ESPN [...]

Steelers 13 Titans 3 – Halftime thoughts
It should be more. The Steelers lead the Titans 13-3 at the half at LP Field in Tennessee, but considering they have had four turnovers in the first half, you would think they would be up 20-3 or more. You take it though, as they will kick off to the Titans to start the second [...]
