The Steelers hosted free agent RB Mewelde Moore on Sunday, and “his signing appears imminent,” according to ESPN’s Michael Smith. He’d be an upgrade over 2007 end of the year third-down option Verron Haynes and supply added punt and kick return value. The deal should be announced this afternoon.
