The Steelers begin preparations for Sunday’s game against Cleveland at Heinz Field today with practice on the South Side. The Steelers sit atop the AFC North division with a 6-and-2 record. Cleveland is a game behind at 5-and-3. One of those three losses was to Pittsburgh back on week one. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin says the Browns are not the same team the Steelers blew out in week one. The Steelers should have defensive lineman Aaron Smith back for the game against the Browns. Smith has been hampered by a knee injury. Fullback Dan Kreider has a concussion but Tomlin expects him to be ready for Sunday. Safety Ryan Clark could be ready as well. Tomlin says he’s encouraged by reports on Clark, who has a spleen injury. Backup linebacker Clint Kriewaldt is questionable with a bruised calf. Backup tight end Jerame Tuman has a disc problem with his back and is questionable at best according to Tomlin.
