Safety Troy Polamalu and wide receiver Santonio Holmes are doubtful for Monday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Polamalu has a knee injury and Holmes has a mild high-ankle sprain. If Holmes can’t play head coach Mike Tomlin says they plan to use a couple of players; Cedric Wilson, Nate Washington and Willie Reid. Polamalu’s injury depletes an already thin safety corps because Ryan Clark was placed on injured reserve last week. Tyrone Carter will replace Polamalu. Anthony Smith will replace Clark.
