Starting left tackle Marvel Smith did not dress for last night’s 3-0 victory over the Miami Dolphins because of problems with his back. Smith was replaced in the lineup by Max Starks. Smith was the third starter to miss the game for the Black and Gold on Monday. Strong safety Troy Polamalu did not dress because of a knee injury and wide receiver Santonio Holmes did not dress because of an ankle injury. Reserve linebacker LaMarr Woodley missed his second game in a row because of a hamstring injury. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will update the injury list during his weekly press conference today at Noon.
