Not that there was ever that much concern, but the Steelers have made it known they have no interest in moving wide out Mike Wallace.
A team source told Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the team will not move Wallace at any point in the 2012 year.
Wallace has yet to sign a one-year tender worth $2.7 million and the Steelers have not heard from him since training camp began July 25th. However, several players remain in contact with him.
The source also said the Steelers will wait several weeks before they decide if they need to sign a veteran free-agent receiver.

The Steelers hold all the cards and Wallace holds none . He has ruined his relationship with Mike Tomlin and the front office . His days in Pittsburgh are numbered .
Agreed. Personally, I would much rather that Wallace stay with the Steelers. He is a great player, but no single player–no exceptions–is bigger than the team. He needs the Steelers more than they need him. It’s hard to see how he has not already punched his ticket out of Pittsburgh. Good luck, Mike.
I don’t see how Wallace can’t sit out until Week 10 without losing face.
