Hines To Have Surgery on His Knee This Week

Hines Ward is scheduled to undergo knee surgery some time this week.  Ward has been playing on the injured knee for most of the 2007 season.  The injury Ward has is similar to the injury that Indianapolis Colts wideout Marvin Harrison has.  Despite the injury, Ward led all Steelers receivers with 10-receptions for 135-yards against the Jags.  Ward says he’ll spend the off-seasons rehabilitating his knee and spending some time with his family.  Ward says he will not watch the Super Bowl since the Steelers are not playing in it.
