Upshaw Says the Steelers Should Switch to FieldTurf

The Steelers have already said they don’t want to go to FieldTurf in 2008, but that might be a hotly contested debate as Gene Upshaw, executive director of the NFL Players Association, has stepped in and said otherwise. Upshaw stated that the team needs to go from natural grass to FieldTurf. The field at Hinez was voted as the second worst in the league by the nearly 1,500 active NFL players. Upshaw claims that many Steelers players told the NFLPA talked to would prefer a different surface at Heinz Field.

I agree that field is a joke. Of all the awful games I watched this year the Miami-Steelers game comes in second.
