Steelers as the Road Team to Wear White Next Sunday


As expected being the road team in Super Bowl XLIII, the Steelers will wear their road white uniforms when they take on the Cardinals, while Arizona will wear their home red jerseys. The Steelers are 2-0 in the big game when they wear their white, as they did it for their first Super Bowl win over the Vikings back in the 1975 season, and again when they topped the Seahawks 21-10 back in Super Bowl XL.

Last season the NFC’s New York Giants wore their road white, and beat the home team the Pats, who were wearing their home blue unis.
