Former First Rounder Timmons Talks About the Super Bowl

All the football games I’ve ever played in, I’ve never experienced feelings like I had when we beat the Ravens. Looking at our crowd, seeing how they reacted to everything, it was just mind blowing. Crazy, man.

It’s great to win a big one. There’s no other feeling like it. When Troy scored that touchdown, I was jumping up and down and screaming, everyone was hugging each other. It was great.

We knew it would be a hard-hitting affair with the Ravens and that’s just what it was. They were laying our guys out, too. Guys were going down left and right, it was a battle. We have a lot of respect for them, they came from the sixth seed and made it to the AFC Championship Game without having a break. Most people don’t know they went 15 or 16 weeks straight without a bye.

Now we have to appreciate the special opportunity we have to win a Super Bowl. We understand that we might not make it back here again, and that there would be nothing else like winning a Super Bowl.
