Steelers Lose CB McFadden to the Cardinals

The Steelers were dealt their second big free agent blow of 09 on Sunday, as CB Bryant McFadden was snatched up with a two-year deal worth a reported $10 mil by the Arizona Cardinals. McFadden started eight regular-season games last season for the Champs, and had 54 tackles and one sack despite missing six games due to an arm injury. The 27-year-old was the Steelers second-round draft pick back in 2005 out of Florida State. The move means that William Gay will get a look at CB in 2009, and the team will likely look to the draft and whatever else remains on free agency for some secondary help.
