Steelers-Cardinals First Quarter Thoughts

First series for the Steelers starts with run, pass, and then then a penalty on the Cards makes it 3rd-and-1…Cards call a time out as Steelers go with what appeared to be a power I for 3rd down…good push on the play gets them the first down…

Drive ends with an overthrown pass by Ben on 3rd-and-3…penalty on the play anyway…great punt by Sepulveda…great to have him back…defense plays well on first two downs, but Breston gets free for a catch on third down…seem to be picking on William Gay early… quck slant gives the Cards another third down conversion…sack on third down ends the threat…

Just like the SB, Ben runs out like a magician to get a couple yards, then hits Ward for 13 yards…great catch by Sweed on third down…third down a dealy of game..welcome to the preseason…third down pass not good, another failed series on offense…great punt coverage, they should have had the fumble…
