Polamalu Unsure If He’ll Play Again in 09

As if things are not bad enough right now with the Steelers, word comes today that Troy Polamalu, a player this team really could use right now, isn’t sure if he’ll be back at all in the 2009 season. Polamalu is hopeful of playing again, but he said Tuesday there is no definitive date for his return.

Asked what it will take for him to play again this season, Polamalu said, “A whole lot of feeling. A whole lot of prayers. God willing, hopefully, I’ll be able to play. We’ll see what the doctor says.”

It was thought that the latest injury to Polamalu wouldn’t sideline him for that long, but as of now, he is for sure out for the Thursday game vs the Browns. After another letdown vs the Raiders, Polamalu says that even if he was playing, it wouldn’t have mattered.

“Honestly, I don’t think one person would make a difference in how this season has ended up for this team,” Polamalu said.

Man, that is a tough break for this team. How much more can us fans handle?

I saw a stat of how the Steelers performed with Polamolu and without him, and the difference is crazy. Something like 1 int without him in the lineup, 11 more points per game given up, and only 1 win. Sick… I hope their young corners can pick up the slack if they get a lot of playing time this Thursday.

My Browns fan cousin and I will be watching the game Thursday. It’s been fun watching games with him as the Steelers have dominated for the last few years. This game shouldn’t worry us, but it definitely worries me.

Thomas Crowley, how about going to a classy Ravens web-site and spewing your ignorance? I cant believe that people like you actually exist. I figure you need blogs to show your stupidity because in person, people probably smack your face and send you home crying like the little bitch that you are.
