Harrison the AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Linebacker James Harrison was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in a 19-11 win over the Titans. Harrison had impressive numbers in the game, finishing with 11 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Harrison’s fumble recovery came near the end of the first half, giving the Steelers a chance to add to their lead when Jeff Reed hit a 34-yard field goal on the final Play of the half for a 13-3 lead. He sacked Titans quarterback Vince Young twice, forcing a fumble on both plays. The first one went out of bounds with the Titans maintaining possession, but Steve McLendon came up with the recovery on the second forced fumble.

Good for Harrison although I might of have it a co-mvp along with Troy. Troy had a great game and a few memorable clutch plays as well. Jumping over the line to sack Collins was a thing of beauty

Wathcing our Defense regain its spot as the best, most dominating D in the game, makes me believe that once we get Ben back behind center that we have what it takes to bring number 7 home to the Burgh!
