What a pathetic display, the Steelers didn’t even act like they wanted to play this game.
I can’t for the life of me understand why they can’t seem to make adjustments on offense or defense.
Why do you continue to run the ball when they defense has 10 guys in the box, or why continue to play a zone defense when they offense is shredding you?
    That was disgusting.

That hit on Ward was helmet to helmet, I’m willing to bet that there will be no fine.

This was easily the most pathetic display from our Steelers in a LONG time! Brady owns them! They had NO answer at all on defense. This pass defense is atrocious and yes, that includes Polamalu. I am not venting and having a knee-jerk reaction to the game. On the contrary, I think the Patriots exposed the Steelers for the world to see. The Steelers had ZERO pressure, dropped 8 and 9 guys into pass coverage and Brady still shredded them! Whether you want to blame the players, schemes, Lebeau,Tomlin, it comes down to this: The Steelers CANNOT stop the pass! PERIOD, end of discussion. I will say this, if the Steelers do not win next Sunday, the season is over. In a copy-cat league,if they do not right the ship,EVERY team will start to employ the same recipe and the Steelers will continue this downward spiral. I am really ashamed at the way they handled themselves tonight on a national stage, against a firece rival and at home. If this is the product you intend to sell the fans, then I will only be watching with 1 eye because I will have no reason to get excited by this. Gay and Reed must lose their uniforms. They are just taking up space now. Reed’s misses can easily be replaced by a college kid that went undrafted. Hell, I can miss that much at I can do it a lot cheaper too. As far as Willie Gay, Its time to try Keenen Lewis because you know what you have in Gay. He stinks, thats what you have in Gay.

What I find frustrating is that the professional analysts say all their fancy things but they’ll never give us the truth which is William Gay sucks and our offensive coordinator continues to get taken to school whenever playing against big high profile teams.

Arians just loves those scripted, empty sets in the first quarter. I dont know why because they havent helped once this year. Abandon the run early, watch your defense give up pass play after pass play, find yourself in an early whole and be out of the game by the 3rd. Great job Steelers! That score could have easily been 45 or 50 to whatever. This team is so bad in the secondary that it is painful to watch now. If I hear anyone tell me that the Steelers defense is one of the best, and that they are physical and that playing in Pittsburgh is tough, I am going to punch them in the mouth. Why? Because none of that is true. This defense is vastly over rated, the kicker is finished in Pittsburgh and is only hurting the team every time he puts on his uniform, the O-line was dreadful tonight and I dont believe that Kemo/Starks would have made that much of a difference either. Wallace, Sanders and Moore came to play. Ben was asked to carry a load that was even too big for him. The rest of the cast of characters better do some soul searching because they sucked tonight. This includes the stubborn coaching staff that just doesnt seem to get it sometimes.

Thankks for responding, Mark,,,,I agree 100 %. This is unacceptable product. ANd anyone responding with reference to our six super bowl trophies can go shove it up your ass! Here are the facts: We come home against a team with a S-U-C-K SUCK defense and only expose it when it’s too late, we played against a Moss-less pats team with no real weapons who happen to be ranked 20th out of 32 and they put 36 points or whatever up on us! OUr defense sucks…I defy someone to try and dispute that! Ike Taylor got bear deep by a guy named Tate…stomach bile almost comes up when I say that! Gay got beat for three touchdown! No one should play on a “good defense” who gives up three touchdowns. We come home and this is the energy we have, No shit, when the Pats lost to the browns last week, I was like fuck, not because I wanted the browns to win or lose but because I know how we play against teams after coming off losses coupled with how the pats play coming off a loss. And it makes me sick to see ben shaking hands with tom brady after the game too! Hey, mark, I’m not even so sure I care about whether this team wins or loses to the raiders next week to help procure interest because if you can’t come home after a 2-1 road trip and hold court against a team I hate more than satan, then go fuck yourself!

Jay, this is a bad situation. Watching Brady have fun and toss 3 TD’s and spike the ball in the fans/teams face after his rushing TD was brutal to see. The Steeler defense is bad. Sorry to all the Steeler loving/ glass is half full fans. I am not a pessemist, Im a realist. If the Steelers want to turn this around and make me look stupid,Ill be glad to eat crow. I dont think they have the horses to make a SUPER run. The secondary is bad,Ziggy Hood might as well be Robin Hood, Gay blows (No pun intended),Polamalu runs around and accomplishes…. well, not much these days. I didnt hear Ryan Clark, James Harrison or James Farriors name all night. Certainly not after a sack or pressure.Dropping 8 or so players into coverage and not being able to stop the pass is downright embarassing. Stubborn coaches, under achieving players is a recipe for disaster. Oh, and how many times was the middle of the field open? So many that even Collinsworth commented on it! But lets not fix that! I love watching Gay and McFadden chase guys. Timmons 25 yards down field in coverage because he HAS to be! Pathetic.
