Steelers in Good Shape from an Injury Standpoint for Sunday

Mike Tomlin updated the media about the teams injury update, stating that the team is in pretty good shape. DE Aaron Smith will practice this week, but on a limited basis. He won’t play according to reports, but all Tomlin would say is that he could find his way to the field on a part-time basis. “Snap count is probably going to be part of that discussion,” Tomlin said, but that “it would be nice to add that tool to the toolbox.”

Corner Bryant McFadden (abdominal strain) and special teams ace Will Allen (sprained knee) will be limited in practice. McFadden left the game last week vs the Ravens for the second half. William Gay played most of the half at his spot, and would replace him again this week if he can’t go. Starting offensive tackles, LT Jonathan Scott and RT Flozell Adams, both of whom left last week’s game, are OK and will be ready to go, according to Tomlin.
