Say It Isn’t So Bill! – Cowher Picks Jets to Upset Steelers

Former Steelers coach and old friend Bill Cowher isn’t going to make Steeler Nation happy with this one. The former coach thinks that the Steelers are going to lose to the upstart Jets Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.

During a recent interview on WFAN Radio in New York, Cowher picked the Jets to win their third consecutive road playoff game this Sunday in Pittsburgh, where he was the head coach for 15 years.

“Well, I’ll tell you what, Pittsburgh will have some issues this weekend,” Cowher said. “The way the Jets are playing, I’m telling you this is going to be a game, I think it will be a classic game, and I like the Jets.

“They made a believer out of me last week with what they did, I think they match up well. I think it’s going to be a tough ballgame, but they certainly have all the ingredients.”

Could he be playing a game of reverse psychology with his old club? Or does Bill really think the Jets are going to win? Hmmm…we’ll see if he stays with that prediction in the CBS pregame show before the game in Pitt Sunday.

Cowher can’t stand it that Tomlin has won two Super Bowls in 4 years while Cowher did not achieve any inhis first 4 years.
